Turning Point Program
The Turning Point Program extends Womenspace services to women who have left an abusive partner.
The purpose of the program is to:
Help women develop and achieve personal goals
Encourage their efforts toward economic and emotional stability for themselves and their children
Support them in their desire to lead lives free from violence.
The goals of the program are accomplished through long-term (one year) one-on-one case management that includes:
Peer counseling
Advocacy
Resource referrals
Weekly support group
Domestic violence information and education
To participate in the Turning Point Program, applicants must be:
Women (adult or emancipated teens)
Residents of Lane County (except the coastal area)
Survivors of domestic violence, but no longer living with the abusive partner
Motivated to make positive changes in their lives
Committed to staying out of abusive relationships
