Training Opportunities

• Time: Volunteers are expected to make a six-month commitment. On average, volunteers do a 4-hour shift per week.

• Willingness to Learn: Volunteers don’t need previous experience in the area in which they want to volunteer; but, they need to attend all trainings, including the orientation and relevant follow-ups.

• Acceptance of Diversity: Womenspace serves women from all backgrounds, races, religions, sexual orientation, and ages. To ensure our clients’ emotional and physical safety, volunteers and staff have to be accepting and supportive of this diversity.
